Here, we tested this hypothesis. We trained newly emerged Papilio xuthus to feed on sucrose solution on a paper patch of a certain colour under white illumination. Deviant and non-diegetic uses of coloured light were also used to increase ‘ostranenie’ or atmospheres of strangeness. They do this by minimizing solar absorption on a surface whilst maximizing thermal emission. The reduction in the internal temperature can reduce the need for electricity used to power air conditioning units used for cooling. Morandi colors are popular in architecture, home furnishing, clothing, and other applications. The laws of Morandi colors will be summarized in this paper, at the same time, its color matching is applied to the design of products to explore the factors affecting user preferences. Morandi colors of different hues have medium and low saturation and lightness. Also, the color matching is harmonious, which can bring people comfortable and pleasant visual feelings. Furthermore, Morandi colors on products of modern, elegant, and exquisite visual characteristics are the factors of user preferences, a

This study examines the effect of colour on users in the context of online sales of organic cosmetics. The primary goal is to identify which colours most effectively capture attention and drive engagement, ultimately influencing purchasing behaviours for organic cosmetic products. Through the use of eye-tracking technology, participants' attention and focus were monitored as they observed products displayed in various colours on screens. Key metrics such as Time to First View and Time Viewed were analyzed to gain a comprehensive understanding of how participants' attention and engagement were

Dredged materials provide a number of beneficial use opportunities, including beach nourishment, habitat creation and restoration, and other activities. In situ sediment color is important for determining aesthetic and habitat suitability, for beach nourishment, and for other projects. However, dredged materials must meet locally established color compatibility requirements (for example, material cannot be too dark). Often, potential sediment sources are close to meeting specified color thresholds, and previous observations suggest that sediments lighten over time. In response to these observa

Non-thermal luminescence of a substance is called luminescence. This process occurs by absorbing excitation energy. The substance itself is called a phosphor. In chemical nature, the phosphor is divided into two groups: organic and non-organic. In fluorescent lamps and other light sources, a non-organic phosphor is used. The main purpose of using phosphor in lighting fixtures is to save energy. Another significant factor is the availability and low cost in the market. And also, the variety of colors available on the market. The use of phosphors with laser diodes is a new direction in lighting

Abstract:
This is one of the first studies in Sweden testing the notion of racial color-blindness empirically in a Swedish context, by asking a sample of Swedish participants to assign race to images of faces with different phenotypes, rate how ‘Swedish’ the faces are perceived (referred to the degree of ‘Swedishness’) and identify the skin color of the faces (through the NIS skincolor scale). We also use eye-tracking to explore whether participants look differently at faces of different racial groups. The results show that skin-color is a decisive factor in the racial ascription as Black, while skin co
