The clinical signs are excavated optic disc area, vitreous hemorrhage (VH), preretinal hemorrhage, retinal detachment, and central retinal artery occlusion. Ultrasound (USG) B scan and computed tomography scan help detect the condition where a clear view of the fundus is obscured due to hyphema or VH. This prevents unnecessary treatment.
