Анотація:
Closed extruding fine blanking parts is processed under strong hydrostatic pressure, material microstate and mechanical properties near the surface change greatly. In order to research the closed extruding fine blanking parts surface wear resistance, make a reciprocating friction test, and make wear resistance comparative analysis between closed extruding fine blanking parts and turning parts which has the same surface roughness. The results show that in the running wear stage and stable wear stage the wear resistance of closed extruding fine blanking parts is better than turning parts, closed extruding fine blanking process has greatly improved the surface wear resistance.

Анотація:
The inflorescence of Symplocarpus foetidus constitutes good material to analyse the biological processes and physical constraints involved in the development of plants. During the development of the inflorescence, two morphogenetic periods can be distinguished (i) before and (ii) during and after the development of floral parts. In the first period, when the floral primordia appear, the phyllotactic system could be explained by global processes at the inflorescence level. In the second period, the development of floral parts produces patterns which can be explained by local processes at the floral level. In this analysis the author defines the concepts of open system and closed system in phyllotaxis. In a closed system (e.g. spadix) the elements are arranged on a continuous and closed surface. In an open system (e.g. shoot apex) the elements appear on a surface periodically renewed and are removed from each other by the intercalary growth.

Анотація:
In light of emission reduction and weight saving in transport applications, Mg parts gain alot attention due to their good specific mechanical properties and their low mass. While casting is themain process for manufacturing Mg parts for automotive applications, forged parts show some majorbenefits like superior mechanical properties and absence of porosity. In this work a comparison ofclosed die forged parts made from different Mg-alloys has been carried out. The materials used in thewarm forging process were AZ31 and various Mg-Al-Zn-Ca-Y type (AZXW) alloys. Ca additions areknown to improve the oxidation behaviour and the formability of magnesium alloys, while yttrium isused to enhance the flammability resistance of forged parts. The forgeability, mechanical propertiesand microstructure are analyzed and compared in the present paper.

In order to research the residual stress distribution and corrosion resistance of closed extruding fine blanking parts, surface and deep layer residual stress is tested and electrochemical corrosion behavior is also researched through polarization curve test in the 3.5%NaCl solution. The results show that: the surface’s residual stress is compressive stress, compressive stress value increases with the deformation degree, and the maximum value is 150 Mpa or so; Along with increase of depth from surface, residual stress first increases, then decreases, it is on the inferior surface reaches to maximum value, and the influence depth is 200μm; In the polarization curve test, closed extruding fine blanking parts' initial corrosion resistance is better than turning parts and blank, but with the test proceeding, the corrosion resistance drops, and closed extruding fine blanking parts’ final passivation phenomenon delays.

Patients with maxillectomy face problems with speech, swallowing, chewing and appearance. These defects are prosthetically rehabilitated with obturators that prevent oronasal communication, restoring function and social reintegration. An obturator must be light-weight, tight, easy to make and low cost. This article describes a simplified technique for fabrication of an acrylic hollow bulb obturator in two pieces using single flask. The prosthesis is made entirely of heat cure acrylic resin. The two parts of the obturator are sealed with the self-curing resin.

Although many corporations make claims about the newness of their products in order to make the public interested in purchasing them, not all of them make the same kind of claims. Whereas previous studies have highlighted claims to newness that are based on emphasizing the newness of almost all the parts of new products in relation to the parts of those products’ previous versions, I highlight claims to newness that are based on emphasizing the oldness of the parts of new products in relation to the parts of those products’ previous versions. These two distinct kinds of claims are patterned after two diametrically opposed normative ideals of newness that have a specific intellectual history in the modern west. This history and its contemporary instantiations have implications for the study of the motion of culture in general, and of the mechanisms that propel it in the corporate world in particular.

The article deals with the analysis of ‘closed’ morphological systems, containing oppositional and contrastive elements. The category of case in the Slavic languages represents the systems of this kind. An attempt is made to shed light on the meaning of the case category in the Russian language. We argue that neither its semantic nor syntactic explanation are taken as being the only criterion of truth. The formal analysis of this category reveals that there is no relationship of noun case forms and that the structuring of pronoun and noun paradigms is different. Case government through prepositions, widely spread in many languages, also fails to explain case distinctions either from only semantic or syntactic perspective. The distribution of words into parts of speech in various languages still remains the only undoubted and common function for all inflectional case paradigms. We view ‘closed’ derivational and inflectional morphological systems as a fundamental condition in this respect; the character of there structure is of little importance; however, formal and unambiguous description can only be applied to the rigidly structured systems.

The application-oriented distribution of wood chips is a major obstacle in the production of 3D molded composite parts made of plastics and wood. Similar to fibers in conventional fiber-reinforced plastic components long chips can be used for force transmission. Short chips and wood powder can be distributed homogeneously between longer chips to increase the wood volume percentage and to allow post-processing-free edge areas. The applied process parameters during the incorporation of the matrix material determine the filling of the cavity and the impregnation of the chips. Different formaldehyde-free resin and adhesive systems, as well as thermoplastic powders are used as matrix material. By controlling the subsequent pressing process of the oriented and impregnated chips the density and wall thickness of the molded part can be influenced. In this work different production process variants and a concept for a modular 3D experimental mold are investigated. The flowability and bulk density of the wood chip fractions are characterized and the compression pressure required in the production process is determined. Initial tests with a panel mold are carried out and the bending strength of the manufactured specimen is examined.

To further improve the material utilization in cross wedge rolling, the paper simulated the forming of closed cross wedge rolling through DEFORM-3D, a rigid-plastic finite element analysis software, and analyzed the distribution and changing rule on the fields of strain and displacement in the parts rolling. Then the paper clarified the generated mechanism about the end concavity of shaft in the closed type of cross wedge rolling, which has great theoretical significance and engineering applied value in controlling and decreasing the end concavity in closed type cross wedge rolling and improving the parts’ end quality.

The paper presents an automated continuous production line (7 m × 1.5 m × 1 m) of high-quality metallic foams using a powder metallurgical method. This continuous production line was used to obtain metal foam parts and/or components by heating the foamable precursor material at melting temperatures close to the temperature of the metallic matrix and cooling the formed liquid metallic foam (in liquid state), which then results in a solid closed-cell metallic foam. This automated continuous production line is composed of a continuous foaming furnace, a cooling sector and a robotic system. This installation has enabled a technological breakthrough with many improvements solving some technical problems and eliminating the risks and dangers related to the safety of workers due to the high temperatures involved in this process. The whole process becomes automatic without any need for human intervention.

Abstract As a longitudinal process, psychotherapy is geared to facilitate a positive change in the patients. Starting from the classical psychoanalytical tradition, a fundamental aim in many types of psychotherapy is to increase the clients’ contact with their problematic emotions and parts of the self, and increase their self-reflexive abilities. As the interaction in psychotherapy aims towards a change, it is evident that it is not only the patient’s inner experience that changes during the process of psychotherapy, but also the relationship between the participants develops over time. In this paper, we propose a way to describe the global dynamics of the therapist-patient interaction, by making a distinction between what we call open and closed therapies. This perspective emerged from our work with a set of data coming from five dyads of psychodynamic psychotherapy. We consider how much variety there is in the interactional moves of the participants, that is, in the possible relations between two turns at talk. We call therapies with sequential variation as “open therapies” and those with rather stable sequential patterns as “closed therapies”. We propose that the variety on sequential relations links to the phasic organization that is common to all psychotherapeutic processes (in that they have beginning, middle and end) and to the change in the internal world of the patient.

To improve the quality of shafts parts end in cross wedge rolling, this paper applied closed type of cross wedge rolling technology to form shaft parts. By using finite element software DEFORM-3D, simulation of forming process for closed type of cross wedge rolling was carried out. The distribution of the stress field and strain field during stretching stage is characterized as the metallic flowing of the rolling forming process. These results have great theoretical significance and engineering application value in the study of the generated mechanism of the end concavity for the closed type of cross wedge rolling and the improvement of the quality of rolled piece end.

To talk about the Frenchness of Le comte Ory might sounds like provocation. Being basically a rifacimento of his Viaggio a Reims, Rossini’s penultimate stage work belongs to the corpus of Italo-French operas. Yet there are three reasons for looking at Le comte Ory as an authentic French opera. Firstly, in the newly composed parts of the work, Rossini avoided the traditional features of the closed numbers typical of the Italian tradition by inserting recitatives inside the numbers and by merging closed numbers and subsequent recitatives, especially at the end of Act II. Secondly, the French lines written by Scribe to fit the already composed music follow poetic patterns from the Middle Ages, of which the prosodic features were closer to Italian than Classical French. Last, the very choice of the legend of Ory is typical of the troubadour style that had been fashionable in Paris since the last decades of the 18th century, and it turns out that this particular legend was extremely popular back then, as witnessed by the variety of local variants that were published in the 19th century.

Purpose: This paper aims to model and optimize the closed loop supply chain for maximizing the profit by considering the fixed order quantity inventory policy in various sites at multiple periods.Design/methodology/approach: In forward supply chain, a standard inventory policy can be followed when the product moves from manufacturer, distributer, retailer and customer but the inventory in the reverse supply chain of the product with the similar standard policy is very difficult to manage. This model investigates the standard policy of fixed order quantity by considering the three major types of return-recovery pair such as commercial returns, end- of- use returns, end –of- life returns and their inventory positioning at multiple periods. The model is configured as mixed integer linear programming and solved by IBM ILOG CPLEX OPL studio.Findings: To find the performance of the model a numerical example is considered for a product with three Parts (A which of 2nos, B and C) for 12 multiple periods. The results of the analysis show that the manufacturer can know how much should to be manufacture in multiple periods based on Variations of the demand by adopting the FOQ inventory policy at different sites considering its capacity constraints. In addition, it is important how much of parts should be purchased from the supplier at the given 12 periods.Originality/value: A sensitivity analysis is performed to validate the proposed model two parts. First part of the analysis will focus on the inventory of product and parts and second part of analysis focus on profit of the company. The analysis which provides some insights in to the structure of the model.

The closed steel supports of different shapes are used in mining and underground constructions. The yielding and unyielding supports are prefabricated from rolled, usually robust steel profiles. The load carrying capacity of the support is considerably influenced by the active loading and passive forces. The passive forces are induced by the interactions of support with the surrounding rock massif [1]. The user-friendly software was processed for the operational determination of load carrying capacity. The analysis has three parts: the first part consists of the structural geometry processing. The second part includes the numerical solution of statically indeterminate structure for the specified load. The third part is the calculation of load carrying capacity, components of internal forces and deformations. The force method and the numerical integration were used for solution. The Winkler model is applied when the support is in interaction with the surrounding environment. The load carrying capacity of support is limited by the slip resistance of the connected parts and reaching the ultimate state of the profile. The plasticity calculation is performed in accordance with EN 1993-1-1 Ed. 2. The limit values beyond the scope of this standard can be selected for an alternative computation.

This paper introduces an analytical method for evaluating the performance of closed loop manufacturing systems with unreliable machines and finite buffers. The method involves transforming an arbitrary loop into one without thresholds and then evaluating the transformed loop using a new set of decomposition equations. It is more accurate than existing methods and is effective for a wider range of cases. The convergence reliability, and speed of the method are also discussed. In addition, observations are made on the behavior of closed loop production systems under various conditions. Finally, the method is used in a case study to design a flexible manufacturing system for production of aerospace parts.

Abstract Within recent years, quantitative cross-linguistic research has shown that body parts are one of the least borrowed semantic fields (Tadmor and Haspelmath, 2009a; 2009b; Tadmor, 2009). With body parts showing many similarities to closed classes, it is simple to assume there is little motivation for a language to borrow body part terms into its lexicon. Yet, despite its lower percentage of borrowings cross-linguistically, some languages employ much higher percentages of borrowings for naming the body. The motivations behind such borrowings across languages remain unexplored but can largely be explained by social factors. As Thomason and Kaufman (1988) and Thomason (2008) claim, social factors generally trump linguistic factors as predictors of contact-induced change. This study first discusses proposed inhibitions to lexical borrowing and then examines cases of body part loanwords from various languages showing how they fit into social patterns motivating such borrowings.

Based on cold rolled TRIP 780 and HSLA 340 steel sheet, the stamping of U-beam and its springback was studied experimentally and numerically. Collision analysis model of closed hat section beam was established on the basis of simulation analysis of U-beam stamping and springback. Mapping was used to transfer results of thickness, stress and strain from U-beam forming part to impact structural part. Collision processes of closed hat section were analyzed under various operating conditions considering the influence of forming. The results show that thickness variation, residual stress, and work hardening of the material after forming affect collision processes directly. The current paper provides reference for improving precision of simulation for vehicle collision.

Context:Balance evaluation and training are typically included in rehabilitation after sport injuries.Objective:To evaluate and compare the maximal velocities and accelerations of balancing movements during 2-leg stance with eyes open and closed. The effect of age on the measured values was also evaluated.Design:Cross-sectional study.Participants:100 healthy, randomly selected subjects (50 men, 50 women; age 31–80 years).Setting:Body-movement values were measured with the Mac Reflex motion-analysis system.Intervention:Subjects stood barefoot.Main Outcome Measures:ANOVAs were used to explain the body movements. The location of measurement, presence or absence of vision, and subjects’ age and gender were used as explanatory variables.Results:With eyes closed, all measured body parts had significantly higher maximal velocity and acceleration values than with eyes open. Age seemed to affect the acceleration values.Conclusion:Visual information was found to significantly influence movement values. Exercises should be done under various conditions to improve standing balance abilities.

A symmetric Galerkin formulation of the Boundary Element Method for acoustic radiation and scattering is presented. The basic integral equations for radiation and scattering of sound are derived for structures, which may consist of a combination of a three-dimensional closed part and thin-walled parts. For the numerical solution of these integral equations a Galerkin-type numerical solution scheme is proposed. The evaluation of the weakly-singular and the hypersingular integrals, occurring in this formulation, is addressed briefly. An improved CHIEF-method is employed in order to prevent the singularity of the coefficient matrix of the algebraic system of equations at so-called irregular frequencies. Subsequently, an algorithm for the automatic determination of the number of nodal unknowns at intersections of thin-walled parts of a structure, or of thin-walled parts and the three-dimensional closed part of a structure, is described. The numerical study contains comparisons of analytical solutions for simple academic examples with the numerical results. In addition, a comparison of measured and computed results is presented for a structure, consisting of both a three-dimensional closed part and a thin-walled part.

Draw rod is one of the main mechanical parts of vehicle steering system,which is required extremely high quality. At present the way to produce the draw rod is machining after common open-die forging. This technology will produce big flashings,damage the metal’s fibrous structure and reduce the material utilization. In this essay, we will use the technology of closed multiple-ram forging to produce it. We will utilize numerical simulation on several blanks through numerical simulation combined with experiments. In this way, the defects that some parts of the blank are folded and cannot fill well during forming process can be effectively avoided. Besides, there will be free of flashing and the draw rod forgings do not need to be cut. The weight of the original blank will be about 3.5 kg after being optimized, down by 36.4 percent compared with that of original material about 5.5 kg. And we will make different settings for the loading way of the plunger chips during the forming process, then compare with the simulation results and ultimately find out the best loading way. At last, we will verify the feasibility of such an optimal technology through experiments on the material-lead.

It’s a basic work for Tibetan information processing to tag the Tibetan parts of speech,the results can be used in machine translation, speech synthesis and so on. By studying the Tibetan language grammar and the classification of Tibetan parts of speech, established the Tibetan parts of speech tagging sets, and tagged the corpus, used the CRFs to solve the problem that automatic tagging of Tibetan parts of speech, the experimental results show that in the closed test set, part-of-speech tagging accuracy is 94.2%, and in the opening set, the accuracy is 91.5%.

Through step response experiments, mathematical models between the cladding height and the laser power, the scanning speed, or the powder flowrate are established respectively. Simulating experiments validate these identification models. From the identification models, the metal parts laser shaping process is understood, which is the basement for designing closed loop control in forming process and is significant to improve the quality of formed parts.
