Abstract:
Purchasing goods with cash on delivery (COD) payment method is a service presented by Shopee to make it easier for buyers who don’t have mobile or internet banking. The buyer pays for the goods when the goods have arrived at the delivery address delivered by the expedition service courier. However, some shoppers vented their disquire to the couriers of the expedition service when the goods they received did not match what they ordered through the Shopee app. Informants in the study suggested that their perception of the quality of information Shopee provides related to COD is still inaccurate, not yet timely, not yet relevant and incomplete. Shopee is considered to still focus on favorable information, not information that educates buyers related to COD. Information that is not received by the buyer can trigger disappointed buyers to vent to the courier expedisi service. Shopee is advised to create information in the form of interesting visualizations, not with long sentences so that it is easy to understand. Information is placed on the display menu that is easily seen by the buyer as on the main page or the information appears when the buyer will check out the item. Good information can prevent disappointed buyers from doing acidification or violence to couriers.

Selling or trading in the industrial 4.0 era as it can now be done by opening a shop online. Therefore, shopping at this time can also be done online also, so that the online shop owners require orders that do not allow for Cash On Delivery (COD) transactions using package delivery services. This research discusses about finding a solution for good shipping with a minimum total mileage of several couriers at PT. Titipan Kilat District Banyuwangi uses AFSA as a settlement algorithm. The experimental process is carried out by using several parameter values to determine the parameters that affect the final solution. Each parameter will be tested with a maximum of 1000 iterations, then the best results will be tested again with a maximum iteration of 2000, and 5000 and will be compared with the original distance traveled by the couriers. The final solution offered in the form of a delivery route by three couriers with the total distance (Z) of the third courier is 87.28 Km with the smallest iteration value reaching the local minimum in iteration 1169. Keywords: artificial fish swarm algorithm (afsa), multiple travelling salesman problem (m-tsp), route, total mileage.

Abstract:
Courier employees in an expedition company are an important asset for the company. Each Courier has a daily productivity performance to aim with a perfect score (100%) to gain a reward. However, an assessment based only on productivity performance cause problems, where it is impossible to achieve a perfect productivity score to get a reward. This research focus to improve the rewarding system using a decision support system by adding other aspects than productivity which is the behavioral aspect. Absentee, successful delivery, cash on delivery, status update, attendance, and lateness are the behavioral aspect criteria used. Profile Matching method is conducted to compare employee profiles with the standard values and calculate its GAP. The smaller the GAP, the greater the weight results for the best alternative solution. The results, from 150 employees, 5 employees were selected as the best employees and granted rewards with the highest position scored 4,733, second scored 4,725, third scored 4,7234, fourth scored 4,722, and fifth scored 4,721. Profile matching has proven to be excellent as a method for a decision support system to reward employees based on ranking.

Abstract:
The article studies the development of crowd shipping technologies in the Old Town of Bratislava. The paper aims to assess the potential for implementation of the crowdsourcing technology in the transport system of Bratislava. Methodology: An interview with the entrepreneurs in this area was conducted to assess the potential demand. In the survey, we collected information about type of goods; operations, quantities, and frequency of delivery; willingness to pay for one delivery among others. Based on the results, the freight demand, and its characteristics were assessed. The second part of the paper is devoted to assessing the supply of logistics to meet the demand. A survey of the willingness of ordinary travelers to work as an occasional courier was conducted. In the end, the equilibrium of demand and supply in the crowd shipping market in Bratislava is presented. The regression and correlation analysis were performed to understand the relationship between parameters of demand and delivery quantities in the first part of the research, sociodemographic characteristics of nonprofessional couriers, and the maximum weight of the parcel nonprofessional couriers agree to delivery. The willingness to pay per delivery was determined for respondents of different genders. Key findings: The results of the survey allowed us to estimate the freight demand for the Old Town of Bratislava, as well as to understand the needs of potential demand for crowd shipping services. The results of the second questionnaire show the sociodemographic characteristics of nonprofessional couriers (age, gender, gender, income, travel time) significantly influence the decision to participate in the delivery market.

Abstract This study performs a detailed examination of the provisions of Article 81 of Law no. 272/2004 for protection and promotion of childrenʼs rights, text of law according to which “No child shall be used a spy, guide or courier during armed conflicts”. Derived from the three fundamental human rights – the right of life, the right to physical integrity and the right to mental integrity, the legal interdiction of using children during armed conflicts as spies, guides or couriers, appears as a real instrument for protection and guarantee of minorsʼ rights, in correlation with their sheltering against the hostilities generated in conflict environments, by avoiding their use as human pawns in the theatres of operations. The lot of substantial information of the study has the vocation to transmit a firm message – to protect the children in case of war and to respect the standards of conduct in armed conflicts.

Abstract:
This study aims to find out the legal position of the couriers in online shopping activities, especially in the payment method of COD (Cash on Delivery); the legal protection that can be given to the COD couriers; and the legal protection for the couriers who encounter buyers who default and refuse the goods they ordered. The method used in this research is the normative juridical method by examining library materials or secondary data sources, namely laws and regulations, books, and legal studies. Based on this method, the research was conducted using a statutory approach and a case approach. The results show that the legal position of the couriers in the online shopping with COD method of payment is as a recipient of a deposit, as a person who represents a freight forwarder in carrying out the power of attorney from the seller, and as a recipient of payment from the buyer. The legal protection that can be given to the couriers is ensuring that the couriers are not responsible for any discrepancy or damage to goods that are not caused by his mistake or negligence.

Abstract:
The article carries out a research on circumstances of the arrest of Yaroslav Dobosh, who was a courier of the OUN Foreign cells (hereafter – ZCh), by the KGB authorities, using the documents of the Branch State Archive of the Security Service of Ukraine as its basis. It was indicated that the mentioned arrest had a significant influence on the dissident movement in Soviet Ukraine. It was proven that the KGB bodies used the “Dobosh case” to launch their massive repressions against the anti-Soviet intelligentsia (“Block” operation), and also to undermine the OUN’s credibility among the Ukrainian diaspora environment in the Western countries. The consequences of that event were reflected in the development of the entire Ukrainian national liberation movement of the 1970s. After analyzing the personality of Yaroslav Dobosh, we discovered that he had been raised in a nationally conscious and religious environment of the Ukrainian diaspora of Belgium. From his early years he joined the Ukrainian Youth Association and agreed to conduct a dangerous mission in Ukraine solely because of his convictions. During that period the OUN Foreign cells had been trying to establish connections with the dissident movement in Ukraine and support it. The tourism was one of the most effective ways of bringing couriers to the Soviet Union. The KGB bodies regularly arrested those couriers. Nevertheless, there was no better communication means between the ZCh OUN and the dissidents. Yaroslav Dobosh had walked into a trap, previously prepared and set by the KGB employees, that was a reason why he failed to spot any danger and was arrested. During interrogations, he revealed his connections with the dissidents in Kyiv and Lviv – Zinovia Franko, Ivan Svitlychnyi, Leonid Selezenko and Stephania Gulyk. In addition to that, he agreed to publicly make a repentance. After that Yaroslav Dobosh was allowed to return home. In Belgium he immediately abandoned his testimonies and claimed that he had been forced and pressed to come out with a speech. However, those statements were of no importance. The KGB organs actively used Dobosh image as a proof of the dissidents cooperation with the Western intelligence services. Emphasizing the failure of the ZCh OUN operation, they launched a campaign to combat “Ukrainian bourgeois nationalism” in Western Ukraine and made provocations to intensify disputes in the anti-Soviet camps of the Ukrainian diaspora. Keywords: dissidents, KGB, ZCh OUN, UYA, Belgium, “Dobosh case”, repressions, ”Block” operation, Kyiv, Lviv, Soviet, diaspora.

Abstract:
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) is a railway transportation service provider in Indonesia. In 2019, KAI launched railway courier service to support logistic sector, called Rail Express. Despite the advantages of railway courier service in providing low-cost fee and minimum risk of time delay and accident, low market penetration indicates brand awareness in the market is still very low. The main objective of this study is to develop customer-based brand equity strategy for railway courier service, by using Rail Express as the case to carry out the research. This study used a series of qualitative method research to fully comprehend the business situation and propose the solution to the business problem. First, in-depth interviews were conducted to the management and staff of KAI to assess external and internal environments of railway courier service. Second, focus group discussions were conducted to gain consumers’ insight related to brand awareness and brand image of Rail Express. The discussion was attended by 16 participants that represent Rail Express target market of e-commerce buyer and seller. Third, this study used TOWS matrix to generate business solution alternatives based on previous analysis findings. As the result, this study formulated three main strategies to build customer-based brand equity: first, integrated marketing communication to establish brand awareness by increasing brand recall and brand recognition; second, brand repositioning to establish brand image by developing brand associations related to positive image and technology; and third, improvement on existing marketing mix, i.e., product, distribution channel, and price strategies.

Abstract:
Food delivery couriers are a new type of worker created in modern cities within the background of a sharing economy. As a form of gig worker, they shuttle through the streets and take charge of order distribution for digital labor platforms. Food delivery couriers use the atriums and streets of their community neighborhood as their places of work and rest, occupying the public spaces that belonged to the original residents. Additionally, this phenomenon sets off a chain reaction which not only creates conflicts with the activities and passage of residents, creating time–space interlinkages, but also exerts profound influence on the economic and population structure of the region. This study focuses on the time–space patterns of food delivery couriers in the Optics Valley youth city community in Wuhan city. Inspired by Tim Cresswell’s mobility theory, this study creates a conceptual framework to explain the time–space patterns of food delivery couriers, including the following aspects: motivation, experience, conduction, and efficiency. This study revealed the characteristics of food delivery couriers on the occupation level, the conflicts between food delivery couriers and other parties as invaders of public space, and their tactics. This study also makes some policy recommendations regarding the career status of couriers and provides a reference for research on the emergence of gig workers in the urban environment.

Abstract:
Various factors must be considered when running a courier service in an urban area, because the infrastructure of a city differs from those in suburban or countryside areas. Of note, population density is higher, and vehicles encounter greater restrictions. Moreover, air pollution from fossil fuel combustion is more severe. As tailpipe emissions are becoming costly to both corporations and the environment, researchers are increasingly exploring more appealing transportation options. Electric bicycles have become an important mode of transportation in some countries in the past decade. Electric bicycles and automobiles have their respective merits and demerits when used to provide courier services. E-bikes in particular can ply their trade in densely packed areas that are off-limits to cars and trucks. This paper focuses on (1) developing a truck–bike mixture model to reduce operating costs for an existing truck-only service by replacing some of the trucks with bicycles, and (2) exploring the resulting effects in terms of reducing overall carbon emissions. Data from one of the major courier companies in South Korea were utilized. The problem was tackled as a heterogeneous fleet vehicle routing problem using simulated annealing because the actual size of the problem cannot be solved directly with a mathematical approach. The most effective fleet mix was found for the company’s case. Effects on operating costs and reduced emissions were analyzed for 15 different scenarios with varying demands and off-limits areas. Computational results revealed that the new model is viable from economic and sustainability standpoints. They indicated that costs decrease to varying degrees in all scenarios, and that carbon emissions also decrease by around 10% regardless of the selected scenario.

Abstract:
Abstract Introduction/Objective Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute document GP44 recommends samples avoid temperatures >22°C during sample transport and storage. Outdoor courier lockboxes used in external sample transport can experience extreme temperatures (>40°C) in the summer. Ice (frozen at -20°C) and cold (refrigerated at 4-8°C) packs can be used to reduce internal lockbox temperatures during hot summer days. Unfortunately, there are no universally accepted instructions to maintain internal lockbox temperatures during these conditions. Therefore, our goal was to elucidate the impact of placing ice and cold packs at two specific time points to mitigate external summer temperatures in two commercially available outdoor courier lockboxes used at our institution. Methods/Case Report Two pairs of uniquely manufactured courier lockboxes (steel vs. urethane polymer) were placed outside in direct sunlight in Nashville, Tennessee during the second week of June 2021. Ambient outdoor and lockbox temperatures were monitored using data loggers during a four-day cycle. Each type of lockbox design had a control with no ice or cold packs. These controls were then compared to each experimental, paired lockbox with four ice packs placed at 8am and replaced with four cold packs at 4pm. Results (if a Case Study enter NA) The mean ambient outdoor temperature over these four days was 27.7°C (range: 22.2-39.8°C). Temperatures within the steel and urethane polymer lockboxes without ice or cold packs was 28.3°C (range: 22.4-40.8°C) and 31.6°C (range: 23.8-41.0°C), respectively. The addition of four ice packs at 8am and replaced with four cold packs at 4pm reduced temperatures in the steel box to 24.3°C (range: 17.4-27.9°C) whereas in the urethane polymer box temperatures were reduced to 13.4°C (range: 6.6-18.1°C). Conclusion Temperatures inside outdoor lockboxes can increase in summer commonly above the outdoor ambient temperature. Standardizing instructions for ice and cold packs can reduce internal outdoor courier lockbox temperatures during summer months, especially in urethane polymer lockboxes.

Abstract:
Józefa Kisielnicka (1865–1941) created a new model of a woman in the society, a woman that is actively involved in the public life and concentrates on the charity work and educational needs of the people in their close environment. Her attitude towards women’s involvement in the public life was greatly appreciated by both men and women, especially among the gentry class. In her literary works (published, e.g., in Warsaw Courier and Daily Courier), she depicted women’s everyday life. The general image of her characters was very negative.
Eliza Orzeszkowa (1841–1910) can be described as a great activist in initiating and developing the idea of gender issues, both in her written works and everyday life duties. Her political views, social involvement, and literary achievements were widely recognized among women representing liberal political views. Her numerous works (for example, A Few Words about Women) related to the place of the women in the society and the issues of gender equality. Eliza Orzeszkowa considered the cultural and social conditions, which influenced the possibilities of women in their pursuit of equality.
The two women writers Józefa Kisielnicka and Eliza Orzeszkowa set a new pattern of initiating and shaping the public involvement of women in the northeastern province of Poland.

Abstract:
Combined conventional ground transport with a subway system for line-haul transport for intra-city express delivery is a new transportation mode. Subway transportation can be used in the line-haul transportation of intra-city express delivery services to reduce cost, improve efficiency, raise customer satisfaction, and alleviate road congestion and air pollution. To achieve this, we developed a path optimization model (POM) with time windows for intra-city express delivery, which makes use of the subway system. Our model integrated the subway system with ground transportation in order to minimize the total delivery time. It considered the time window requirements of the senders and the recipients, and was constrained by the frequency of trains on the subway line. To solve the POM, we designed a genetic algorithm. The model was tested in a case study of a courier company in Shanghai, China. Meanwhile, based on the basic scenario, the corresponding solutions of the four different scenarios of the model are carried out. Then, we further analyzed the influence of the number of vehicles, the frequency of trains on the subway line, and the client delivery time window on the total delivery time, client time window satisfaction, and courier company costs based on the basic scenario. The results demonstrated that the total delivery time and the total time outside the time window decreased as the number of vehicles increased; the total delivery time and the total time outside the time window decreased as the delivery frequency along the subway line increased; the total delivery time and the total time outside the time window decreased as the sender’s time window increased. However, when the sender’s time window increased beyond a certain threshold, the total delivery time and the total time outside the time window no longer decreased greatly. The case study results can guide courier companies in path optimization for intra-city express delivery vehicles in combination with the subway network.

Abstract:
To date, histories of literary culture in Queensland have not paid particular attention to newspapers, despite the fact that metropolitan and regional publications carried considerable material that allows us insight into the ways in which books were circulated and evaluated. Reviews and essays sat alongside advertisements run by department stores, specialist retailers, large distributors and newsagents, in turn jostling for attention with interviews with authors, poems, reports of literary gatherings and substantial critical essays. This article offers a ‘case study’ of literary materials in The Brisbane Courier, part of a project on the representation of literature (broadly conceived) in Australian newspapers from 1930. The year 1930 was chosen because the interwar years are so frequently characterised, in discussion of the critical study of Australian literature in particular, as a time of neglect, and the Depression as a catalyst for the gradual narrowing of literary horizons. Our larger aim is to understand this historical period better, as well as to calibrate the discussion of Australian literature against the discussion of literature generally. By focusing on a single year for data collection, we have been able to assemble a rich and detailed picture of ‘talk about books’. This, in turn, has enabled us to analyse the significant differences between, for example, the ways in which books are discussed and represented as commercial and aesthetic objects in regional and metropolitan newspapers (see Dale and Thomson 2010).

Abstract:
The French - local daily newspaper in Indochina appeared with the development of commerce and the presence of colonial capitalists (industrialists, miners, intellectuals, civil servants and traders) in the mid-1880s. French daily newspapers not only reflected the change of localities, but also played a role in promoting development through a focus on defending political views, providing economic information. Le Courrier d'Haiphong is a case of a local daily newspaper that balances factors such as operational objectives, publishing conditions, and is a “witness” of Hai Phong's urbanization process and plays a role as “participant factor” accelerating the modernization of one of the trade-industrial centers in the North of Vietnam during the colonial period. Out of the local sphere, Le Courrier d'Haiphong existed as a forum of French capitalists in Tonkin. As one of the very few newspapers that had not been suspended during its lifetime, Le Courrier d'Haiphong newspaper provided a way to publish newspapers in the early stages of journalism in Vietnam. At the same time, it is also a valuable resource for research on economic history, urban history, or cultural exchange and acculturation activities in the late nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century.

Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to create a Matching Consignees/Shippers Recommendation System (MCSRS). We used the association rule to identify product associations, the clustering technique to group shippers and consignees according to behaviors when receiving goods from similar shipper groups, and the decision tree to identify possible matches between shippers and consignees. Finally, Monte Carlo simulation was used to estimate potential revenue. The case study is a courier company in Thailand. The results showed that garment products and clothes were the products with the highest association. Shippers and consignees of these products were segmented according to recency, frequency, monetary factors, number of customers, number of product items, weight, and day. Three rules are proposed that enabled the assignment of 8 consignees to 56 shippers with an estimated increase in revenue by 36%. This approach helps decision-makers to develop an effective cost-saving new marketing, inclusive strategy quickly.

Abstract:
The current and projected trends of growth in online shopping might change the activity and travel patterns in Christchurch, one of the largest cities in New Zealand. Online shopping might reduce consumers’ shopping trips, but it has substantially increased courier companies’ trips to deliver parcels to the end-consumers because a considerable proportion of parcels are often required to be redelivered due to consumers not being at home during the first delivery attempt. This also adds to the operational cost of courier companies and adverse traffic impacts. To mitigate these issues, collection-and-delivery points (CDPs) have recently been introduced in New Zealand on a trial basis. This study aims to identify the optimal density and locations for establishing CDPs in Christchurch using a modified p-median location-allocation (LA) model. A consumer-centric approach to locating CDPs has been adopted by considering the socio-demographic characteristics of Christchurch’s residents and the distances to/from CDPs. Non-traditional CDP locations (e.g., supermarkets and dairies) were considered as potential candidate facilities and were found to be more suitable as CDPs than traditional post shops. Based on consumers’ shopping pattern, supermarkets appeared to be the most frequently visited and preferred type of facility to be used as CDPs. However, the results of the LA analyses show that dairies are the most accessible locations, and CDPs at dairies located within two kilometres will encourage consumers to walk and cycle to receive their parcels from CDPs. The results suggest the optimal location configuration for each type of facility considered, based on their spatial distribution in the city.

Aspectual complements and verbs expressing ways of movement in French: between boundary marking and telicityConsidered synonymous by some, carefully distinguished by others, the notions of telicity and boundary marking are of crucial importance for studies on aspect. This article offers a reflection on the relation between aspectual properties and certain complement verbs. Through a detailed analysis of the verb syntagmas formed by courir and nager (courir cent mètres, nager le deux-cents-mètres), it is demonstrated that despite the apparent formal similarity, complements like cent mètres and le deux-cents-mètres perform different functions in relation to the predicate: in the first case, they mark boundaries, while in the second they are markers of a property [+ telicity]. A study of a particular problem thus allow for taking part in a more general discussion, providing arguments in favour of distinguishing between telicity and boundary marking. Niniejszy artykuł proponuje refleksję nad stosunkiem pomiędzy owymi właściwościami określającymi aspekt a niektórymi dopełnieniami [czasownikowymi]. Poprzez szczegółową analizę syntagm czasownikowych tworzonych przez courir i nager (courir cent mètres, nager le deux-cents-mètres), wykazano, że pomimo pozornego podobieństwa formalnego, dopełnienia takie jak cent mètres i le deux-cents-mètres pełnią różne funkcje wobec orzeczenia: w pierwszym przypadku dokonują określenia granic, podczas gdy w drugim nadają pewną właściwość [+teliczność]. W ten sposób studia nad specyficznym problemem pozwalają zabrać głos w ogólniejszej dyskusji, przedstawiając nam argumenty przemawiające za rozróżnieniem pomiędzy telicznością a określaniem granic.

Abstract:
Online transactions using the Cash On Delivery (COD) payment method play an important role in increasing the intensity of electronic transactions in Indonesia, this is because the COD payment method can reach consumers who do not have bank accounts or other digital wallets. The increase in the use of this payment method is inversely proportional to the public's perception of misguided understanding of the COD payment method, resulting in new problems such as consumers who are reluctant to pay for goods that have been ordered to protests accompanied by threats to delivery couriers. This paper aims to examine the weaknesses in COD transactions so that evaluations can be carried out in order to increase legal certainty for all parties. The type of research used is normative juridical using the statutory and conceptual approach. This study uses secondary data as the main data and uses library research as a material collection technique. All materials that have been collected are then inventoried, classified, and analyzed using descriptive analysis which aims to describe the problem so that innovative solutions are obtained. There are several shortcomings in this COD method, such as: buyer's misconception of the COD system, disinformation of goods with real conditions, and complicated methods of purchasing goods. This deficiency can be overcome in several scenarios, namely: strengthening legal protection for couriers delivering goods, using the principle of strict liability and reversing the burden of proof (reversion of the burden of proof) in the protection of E-Commerce consumers, and simplifying the rules for returning goods.

The aim of this research article was to discover, using the Factiva database, how frequently Papua New Guinea’s Post-Courier, one of the largest selling newspapers in the Pacific, covered prominent health issues namely HIV, malaria and diabetes between 2007 and 2017. Also, it tries to determine if there was a discernible pattern in the number of articles and content with previous studies on health coverage, in this case HIV, from 1987-2007. As Factiva did not hold any archives for PNG’s other major newspaper—The National—it was excluded from this analysis. While there are marked similarities with earlier studies, the dramatic decline of health stories from 2013 onwards is a cause for concern.

Abstract:
An economic analysis of a private commercial magnetic resonance MR imaging service was carried out. At an expected case-load of 2000 per year, a mid-field MR unit was predicted to cost 470 per case using teleradiology and 544 per case using film and a courier service. Routine and emergency MR services were provided to two communities in Maryland. In a two-year study period, 8083 teleradiology examinations were performed. Digital images were acquired and transmitted without data compression via ISDN at 128kbit s to a central diagnostic workstation for interpretation by a team of radiologists. The average transmission time for a typical case of 50 images was 6-8min. Preliminary interpretations were normally available within 2h and the final transcribed reports were usually faxed to the physicians` offices within 24h. The results of a survey indicated that the system was well received by both referring physicians and patients. Costs per case in practice were similar to those predicted.

Abstract:
A first aim of this paper is to answer, in the case of real ruled surfaces $X_l$ of base $\mathbb{C}P^1$, with $l \geq 2$, a question of V. A. Rokhlin: is it true that the equivariant isotopy class does not suffice to distinguish the connected components of the space of smooth real algebraic curves of $X_l$? A second aim is to prove that there exist in these surfaces some real schemes realized by real flexible curves but not by smooth real algebraic curves. These two results of real algebraic geometry are deduced from the following comparison theorem: when $m = l + 2k$, with $k > 0$, the discriminants of the surface $X_m$ are deduced from those of the surface $X_l$ via weighted homotheties. All these results are obtained from a study of a deformation of ruled surfaces. The paper is written in French.2000 Mathematical Subject Classification: 14H10, 14J26, 14P25.

Abstract:
Ethnic Studies undermines and challenges the racism inherent in dominant education systems by centering identities and epistemologies of people of Color. While much focus has been paid to the damage done to students of Color by White teachers and the White standard curriculum, this paper addresses the intellectual and material benefit White students disproportionately gain from this curriculum. Through a mixed-methods empirical study examining social studies textbooks and standards from Texas and California, the author argues that the standard White canon acts as a form of White/Western studies that directly privileges White students. Critical Race Theory, Critical Whiteness Studies, Pierre Bourdieu cultural reproduction, and Tara Yosso’s community cultural wealth provide theoretical frameworks in calling for a broader implementation of Ethnic Studies programs and pedagogies while calling for reform of traditional curriculum and standards that act as couriers of dominant capital for White students.

Abstract:
The news media in Oceania are small but remarkably diverse and vigorous. Ownership ranges from large transnational corporations and robust local media companies, as in Fiji and Papua New Guinea, to local entrepreneurial and Government media interests, such as in Tonga and smaller South Pacific nations. News Corporation, through its South Pacific subsidaries, owns the two largest English-language dailies, The Fiji Times and the PNG Post-Courier, while the Malaysian timber company Rimbunan Hijau is a major media investor in Papua New Guinea (The National) as well as having interests in New Zealand and South-East Asia. Australia's Channel nine owns PNG's national TV broadcaster, EMTV, and New Zealand has played an important role in the development of Fiji Television. All three countries have had constitutional freedom of expression guarantees under assault in recent years and the role of the media in good governance has been an emerging theme. Three authors, prominent journalists (and, in the case of two, now also media edcators), analyse the trends in their countries.

The development of information and communication technology which is rapidly increasing now causes changes in people's behavior in shopping. This is supported by the increasing number of online shopping or e-commerce businesses in the community. PT Pos Indonesia as a business entity engaged in sending letters and packages also has considerable opportunities in this business. However, the strength of PT Pos Indonesia at this time cannot be said to be good, because, based on the results of a survey conducted on 30 samples of people and students in the city of Padang showed that only about 7% of people chose PT Pos Indonesia as a courier for shipping goods. This research was conducted to design the right business strategy for PT Pos Indonesia to compete in the package or goods delivery business using Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis. From the results of the strategic plan made, it can be concluded that PT Pos Indonesia Padang is in a good internal and external environment. However, PT Pos Indonesia's position compared to its competitors is weak. Based on Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM), the proposed strategy given to PT Pos Indonesia Padang in such company conditions is an intensive strategy.

The synapse, acetylcholine, or ACh for short that goes about as a compound 'courier' with guidelines for the muscles to contract. A three years old child female patient was brought to our department with the complaints of drooping of the left eyelid after one week she developed drooping of right eye. With scientific and laboratory discoveries, she is identified by congenital myasthenia and treatment was started. Evidence from case notes, history, review and accept. Muscle fatigue habits included limb, trunk, bulbar, respiratory, nasal, extraocular muscles and patients reacted with anticholinesterase and 3,4-diaminopyridine. Quick channel syndrome compared with AChR in serious respiratory emergencies in infancy or early childhood. Two children's fatalities, also in care and family history of sibling deaths, highlight the need for effective genetic diagnosis.

Abstract:
Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) is a well-known route optimization problem in which a set of customers is visited only once and all demands are satisfied within single route. Package delivery by a courier company can be considered into this type of problem. While many of the previous research had been conducted, the application of the solutions were limited due to unreal distance measure. This paper developed a decision support system for route optimization using free online maps from Google and Google Maps Application Programming Interface (API). Genetic Algorithm was employed to generate solutions within relatively short time. Furthermore, the solutions was viewed as a function of distance and time. There were some limitations from Google in case of acquiring distance data with the free of charge mechanism. Future research can tackle this backdraw by putting more customer points. Other heuristic methods could also be used for comparison purpose

Abstract:
ABSTRACTThe first English translation of Castiglione's Il cortegiano was produced by Thomas Hoby, and published in 1561. Hoby began work on the text during Edward VI's reign, when Italian culture was admired for its progressiveness by the Protestant elite. He translated Book iii as a self-contained commission for Elizabeth Parr, marchioness of Northampton. The book in question had particular relevance for the marchioness at that stage of her career. Having ‘Englished’ it, Hoby did not initially intend to translate the rest of Il cortegiano. He knew that someone else was already engaged upon the project. The identity of this alternative translator has hitherto remained unknown. However, a strong case can be made in support of the candidature of William Thomas. Hoby only embarked upon a full translation after Thomas's execution for treason in 1554. By 1556, he had completed his task, and produced a dedication addressed to Henry Hastings. His choice of dedicatee is generally attributed to a sense of political and spiritual affinity; Hastings moved in the same intellectual circles, and shared the same Protestant background, as Hoby. However, the young man who would later be known as the ‘Puritan earl’ conformed to the prescribed religion of the Marian regime. More significantly, he was the nephew of Cardinal Pole. Hoby and several of his evangelical friends were seeking rapprochement with the Catholic government in 1556. Hoby hoped his translation would commend him to Pole, thus effecting his political rehabilitation. However, the authorities were suspicious of Hoby – and of the stationer to whom he entrusted his book. Doubts were also raised about the Catholic orthodoxy of Castiglione's dialogues. Consequently, Hoby's translation was not published until after the Elizabethan accession.
