The cooperative development of classifications and definitions by parties interested in health care requires a coherent metaterminology. Besides the language of logic and set theory, the language of terminology seems useful in the pursuit of a methodological taxonomy. However, the standard vocabularies developed so far by terminologists have certain shortcomings. Some of them are discussed. Further developments are under way. The need to organize huge collections of knowledge in several disciplines will put pressure on the work of standardizing terminolo gists.

Les emprunts se répartissent en deux grandes périodes : les emprunts antérieurs à l'islam et les emprunts liés à la Révélation. Les premiers, du vocabulaire courant pour la plupart, viennent de l'akkadien, l'araméen, le persan, le grec, le latin. AbstractThe discussion about the compatibility of the common good and individual good was a pressing theme in medieval monastic texts and moral philosophy. Monastic authors typically relied on the premises of ethical eudaimonism, which stresses the idea that the virtuous agent’s good is maximized and the individual and common good are in harmony. This chapter argues that rather than constructing a concise theory of the common good and individual good, theologians elaborated on related themes such as the problem of achieving the common good, common utility, self-interest, self-love, or individu

Abstract:
Motivation: Currently available and frequently used tools for annotating antimicrobial resistance genes (ARGs) in genomes and metagenomes provide results using inconsistent nomenclature. This makes the comparison of different ARG annotation outputs challenging. The comparability of ARG annotation outputs can be improved by mapping gene names and their categories to a common controlled vocabulary such as the Antibiotic Resistance Ontology (ARO). Results: We developed argNorm, a command line tool and Python library, to normalize all detected genes across 6 ARG annotation tools (8 databases) to t

Abstract:
This profile establishes a basic taxonomy of IPv6 capabilities, defined in terms of IETF specifications, resulting in specific capability labels for common network functions and usage scenarios. The profile maps each such labeled capability to one or more specific technical specifications, or parts of specifications. Each labeled capability adopts by reference the normative requirements of the cited specifications. In rare cases the profile may augment or modify the normative requirements of a base specification. The defined capability labels effectively form a vocabulary for expressing IPv6 r

Abstract:
The article deals with the problems of translating pseudo-international words in economic texts. Incorrect interpretations of pseudo-international words in written texts and oral translations are investigated. It is noted that errors in the written version appear mainly due to the use of the most common full-text translation services, where the word spelling is a priority. For oral translation, the first variant of incorrect interpretation is more typical, when the word is pronounced similarly to Russian, but is not its analogue. The paper presents the classification of pseudo-international wo
