The ship model was constructed using a computer aided design (CAD) tool in which the model was a 3600 TEU Panamax container ship. The hydrodynamic motions of ship-wave interactions were undertaken through the analysis of the commercial software Flow-3D. The different wave conditions were considered in the model with initial water depth 15 m, wave height 5 m and wave periods were assumed to be 8, 10 and 12 secs.
