Sprague-Dawley rats were trained to discriminate between saline (SAL) and an ethanol-nicotine mixture (0.5 g/kg ethanol plus 0.5 mg/kg nicotine) administered 15 min prior to a 15-min drug discrimination training session under a FR-10 schedule of reinforcement. The mixture dose ratio was adjusted after training to obtain a drug mixture with which both individual drugs contributed about equally to the stimulus control (1.0 g/kg ethanol plus 0.3 mg/kg nicotine). According to witnesses, McGuire gasped, snorted and appeared to struggle for air for ten minutes before dying. The entire execution lasted up to twenty-six minutes – the longest since Ohio resumed executions in 1999. Abstract The effect of drag reducing agents (DRA) on corrosion and flow regime has been studied in a 10 cm diameter, 18 m long plexiglass flow loop in 50% oil/water mixtures with carbon dioxide gas. Superficial liquid velocities between 0.1 and 1 m/s and gas velocities between 1 and 10 m/s respectively were studied. The corrosion rate was measured for stratified, slug and annular flow. The height of liquid film, slug velocity, and slug frequency were obtained from the video image using a super-VHS camera. This study aims to explore in vitro anti-tumor action of the equimolar mixture of Fe(III)-substituted monolacunary Wells-Dawson POM (Fe-WD), K7[FeIII(α2-P2W17O61)(H2O)] and L(+)-ascorbic acid sodium salt (ascorbate) using cervical carcinoma HeLa cells as a model system. The cytotoxic effect of the mixture of Fe(III)-substituted monolacunary Wells-Dawson polyoxometalate (Fe-WD), K7[FeIII(α2-P2W17O61)(H2O)] and L(+)-ascorbic acid sodium salt (ascorbate) on cervical carcinoma HeLa cells was evaluated in this study. Nifedupine solid dispersions in polyethylene glycols (PEG4000 and PEG6000), poloxamers (poloxamer188 poloxamer288 and poloxamer407), [beta]-cyclodextrin (BCD) and 2-hydroxypropyl-[beta]-cyclodextrin (HPBCD), at the drug:carrier ratio if 1:1, 1:3, 1:5, and 1:10 were investigated.
