Gray mold disease, which is caused by Botrytis cinerea Pers ex. Fr., results in serious economic losses to Lycopersicum esculentum (tomato) crop productivity. In this study, we explored the possibility that mixtures of essential oils (EOs) and their respective hydrolates (HYSs) could be used to control this disease. Thus, EOs and HYSs were obtained from Origanum vulgare, Thymus vulgaris, Citrus limon, and Citrus sinensis by hydrodistillation. Mapping the extent and quantifying oil slick in ocean spills is one of the major objectives for monitoring and clean-up programs. Hyperspectral sensors are among the few remote sensing tools with potential for quantifying hydrocarbon oil on water and on other background substrates. At present, methods used to process hyperspectral data for quantifying hydrocarbon oil relies on delineating shapes and wavelength position of key diagnostic features within shortwave infrared (SWIR), particularly at 1.73µm and 2.30µm, which are often affected by the spectral features from the background substrates.

Yüksək Silisiumlu Seolit (YSS) əsasında HYSS, HZnYSS və HCuYSS katalizator nümunələri sintez olunmuş və onların aktivliyi n-heksanın çevrilməsi prosesində geniş tədqiq olunmuşdur. Prosesdən alınan reaksiya məhsullarının temperaturdan asılı olaraq paylanması müqayisəli şəkildə verilmişdir. Müəyyən olunmuşdur ki, ən yüksək aktivlik HCuYSS katalizator nümunəsinə məxsusdur. Belə ki, onun iştirakında n-heksanın konversiyası 83,9 %, aromatik karbohidrogenlərin maksimum çıxımı isə 19,8 % təşkil etmişdir. Ternary complex formation in the system Cu(II)-ALA-L (ALA = δ-aminolevulinic acid drug; L = peptides) has been studied by pH-potentiometrically at 25 ± 0.1 ºC with I = 0.10 mol L-1 NaCl. The stability constants of binary and ternary complexes were calculated and interpretated. The concentration distribution of the complexes in solution was graphically presented using the HySS program. In addition, the values of Δlog K, log X and relative stabilization percentage (% R.S.) for the mixed-ligand complexes studied have been evaluated and discussed.

Eftersom fiskbestånden i området inte visat några tecken på återhämtning har andra påverkansfaktorer än fiske uppmärksammats som tänkbara förklaringar, bland annat predation från knubbsäl (Phoca vitulina) och storskarv (Phalacrocorax carbo).
