Synonyms, as a rule, are distinguished by their unique qualities from other lexical units from the lexical-semantic point of view in the language. So, mainly two aspects attract more attention in this group of words. First, they are close in meaning. Some linguists even call them synonymous, depending on the meaning of the synonym word. On the other hand, synonymy is the diversity of words in terms of form. Abstract:
Corpus linguistics has attracted growing interest from linguistics, researchers, and language educators. This area is potential for studies in linguistics as well as improvement in language learning. This study aims at investigating how a corpus-based website named https://www.english-corpora.org/coca/ - or COCA - helps improve students' lexical usage in written production. Participants were EFL students from a university using COCA over two months for revising vocabulary in their writing assignments. Data included the measure of textual lexical diversity (MTLD) of the participants' revised as

The article analyzes lexical variants from the text of the book of Genesis in Croatian-Glagolitic breviaries of the northern and southern textological groups. Variants were divided into several groups according to their type and origin. In the group of variants at the places with the same semantics in the Greek and Latin texts, it is confirmed that in the breviaries of the northern group most (85%) lexemes are the same as in Old Church Slavonic paroimarion, while in the breviaries of the southern group it is only in 15% of cases. In the non-paroimarion texts, which were translated into Croatia

The paper deals with the so-called aspectual triplets of the Russian verb. Based on the data from the Russian National Corpus, it proposes a diachronic method to study triplets as well as a two-component model of the Russian aspect as an alternative to the traditional word-based classification model. The first component of the model is a morphological mechanism of the imperfectivizing suffixation of prefixed verbs that is inflectional (ras-kry-t’PFV — ras-kryva-t’IPFV2 ‘disclose, reveal’), but has a limited scope of action (prefixed verbs only). The second component of the model is the actiona

Research on old Romanian texts, religious or non-religious translations, original writings underlying acts of culture or administrative records, documentary sources authored by Romanians or foreigners (missionaries or mere travellers fascinated by various aspects of Romanian space) brings to the foreground a significant number of toponyms for anyone interested in this onomastic variety. The toponyms in question mainly include names of settlements, provinces, and countries, as well as names of important landforms, most of which are real and can be located. The paper aims to shed light on some cases of complex formation of the Bulgarian dialectal vocabulary as a result of multilingual and multicultural situation in the Balkans. The main source for the analysis is the first volume of the innovative Ideographic Dialectal Dictionary of Bulgarian Language (Sofia, 2012). The dictionary provides a list of dialectal synonyms for a literary word and thus allows the linguists to analyze the genesis of various denotations of one particular object (person, event, quality, action etc.). Abstract:
The literature review delves into the complex dynamics of human-AI interaction, emphasizing its pivotal role in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) tools successfully. User perceptions of AI, highlighted by Neyazi (2023) and Cinalioglu et al. (2023), significantly influence acceptance and adoption. Trust formation, particularly crucial in domains like healthcare (Davenport & Kalakota, 2019; Wong et al., 2023), underpins widespread AI use. Ethical considerations, including bias and data privacy, demand careful attention (Mittelstadt, 2019; Huriye, 2023). Societal impacts, such as auton
