Den här uppsatsen undersöker parafrasens roll i samtida bildundervisning ur ett socialkonstruktionistiskt och feministiskt perspektiv med hjälp av visuell metodik, diskursanalys och gestaltande metoder. Uppsatsens material består av lärares parafrasuppgifter, elevarbeten, lärares samtal om parafrasuppgifter och stoffurval samt författarens egna erfarenheter av att göra parafraser. The overall purpose of the thesis is to explore the school subject Art as an arena where pupils and Art teachers do gender. The study focuses on how pupils interact and position themselves during Art lessons and in the artworks they create, and also on how their notions of Art are linked to notions of gender. My Ph.D. dissertation analyzes from a philological and literary point of view the first book of Arator’s Historia Apostolica, a biblical epos about Peter and Paul based on the Acts of the Apostles. In the first chapter I study Arator’s letters to pope Vigilius, Florianus and Parthenius and the public reading carried out by the poet in 544 A.D., in order to investigate his historical background and his aims. Sammanfattning. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka semantiska skillnader och pragmatiska säregenheter vid användandet av par bestående av ”verb-verb-nominala ordsammansättningar”. Det är korpus-baserad undersökningen. Den här uppsatsen är en slags fortsättning på ett tidigare arbete (Malaxos 2010). Då under analysen av några exempel av nämnda ovan par kom jag fram att så kallade synonymiska parafraser är inte ekvivalenta. Det var ett preliminärt resultat som nu testas på en mängd av kontexter som var samlat i Korpus och på Internet. Jag analyserar 10 par. I bilagan finns det 4673 kontexter
