The muscarinic cholinergic system regulates peripheral and central nervous system functions, and, thus, their potential as a therapeutic target for several neurodegenerative diseases is undoubted. A clinically applicable positron emission tomography (PET) tracer would facilitate the monitoring of disease progression, elucidate the role of muscarinic acetylcholine receptors (mAChR) in disease development and would aid to clarify the diverse natural functions of mAChR regulation throughout the nervous system, which still are largely unresolved. Still, no mAChR PET tracer has yet found broad clin

The ability to study multiple physiologic processes of the brain simultaneously within the same subject would provide a new means to explore the interactions between neurotransmitter systems in vivo. Currently, examination of two distinct neuropharmacologic measures with positron emission tomography (PET) necessitates performing two separate scans spaced in time to allow for radionuclide decay. The authors present results from a dual-tracer PET study protocol using a single dynamic-scan acquisition where the injections of two tracers are offset by several minutes. Multiplexed positron emission tomography (PET) imaging provides perfectly registered simultaneous functional and molecular imaging of more than one biomarker. However, the separation of the multiplexed PET signals within a single PET scan is challenging due to the fact that all PET tracers emit positrons, which, after annihilating with a nearby electron, give rise to 511 keV photon pairs that are detected in coincidence. Compartment modelling can separate single-tracer PET signals from multiplexed signals based on the differences in bio-distribution kinetics and radioactive decay. However, the

Between April 2020 and January 2022, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) commissioned a quarterly survey on consumer handwashing. Key findings from this survey are: Across all waves of the handwashing tracker, participants were most likely to report washing their hands with soap and warm water. Abstract:
This study investigates the domestic freshwater fish trade in Cambodia, focusing on the marketing chain from the Tonle Sap (Great Lake) to retail markets in Phnom Penh. Abstract:
Export-led growth is the most sustainable way for Belize to raise its long-run rate of growth of GDP per head to meet the aspirations of its people and to put external debt servicing on a more secure basis. Expanding exports of goods and services to Guatemala and Mexico would be a useful step in this direction. This can be done by emphasizing tourism and non-travel services to Guatemala and Mexico which could help to increase the value of exports. Other services, such as transport, business outsourcing and finance, also have potential for expansion. Key recommendations to promote trade with Gu
