Abstract Words are the guise of our thoughts. The power of words is undeniable. Lexically, it is a speech unit, a word, which consists of a sound expression of the concept of something or an event. As the word that comes to the meaning of language and speech has been used from the past to the present, everyone will use it as much as they need in the future. As the British say, "Words are sharper than swords." (‘Words cut more than swords.’) Words are the main weapon of a teacher, especially language teachers. Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether research and practice on task design and work teams could benefit from a more nuanced perspective on task (inter)dependencies among team members. Prior research often overlooked that task interdependence captures the average exchange of resources, while asymmetrical task dependence captures the inequalities within an individual's work relationships. To date, no study on work teams has combined the two aspects. Design/methodology/approach – Data were obtained from 262 individuals working in 67 work teams. Multilevel and bootstrapping

AbstractThis essay seeks to make a contribution to Catholic practical theological methodology through a discussion of “anticipation” as developed in the theology of Wolfhart Pannenberg. Its main thesis is that an understanding of the proleptic and anticipatory character of revelation and tradition can help articulate the role of tradition in the normative task of a Catholic practical theology. The first section of the paper looks at the normative task of practical theology and how this is reflected in the Whiteheads’ Method of Ministry. The first one consists in reducing the processing time of each task graph, thus making steady-state scheduling applicable to smaller batches. The second one c

Research in swarm robotics focuses mostly on how robots interact and cooperate to perform tasks, rather than on the details of task execution. As a consequence, researchers often consider abstract tasks in their experimental work. For example, foraging is often studied without physically handling objects: the retrieval of an object from a source to a destination is abstracted into a trip between the two locations---no object is physically transported. Despite being commonly used, so far task abstraction has only been implemented in an ad hoc fashion.

In this dissertation, I propose a coll
