Background. The background of this study is to explore psycholinguistic methods to assist Arabic language learners in processing idiomatic phrases more effectively. The focus is on identifying cognitive strategies that can improve the understanding and use of idiomatic phrases in communicative contexts. By solving this problem, it is hoped that learners can become more proficient in the idiomatic aspects of Arabic, improve communication skills, and feel confident interacting with native speakers. An extensive body of psycholinguistic research suggests that word reading involves morphological decomposition: Individual morphemes are extracted and lexically accessed when skilled readers are presented with multi-morphemic orthographic stimuli. This view is supported by the Morpheme Interference Effect (MIE): Responses to pseudowords that contain real morphemes are slower and less accurate than responses to pseudowords that contain invented morphemes. The MIE was previously demonstrated in several languages with linear morphologies. Here, we examined whether the MIE applies to Hebrew, a lan

In the modern study circle, the topic of digitization in education and its impact on learning is one of the most important issues. The purpose of the study is to analyze the impact of the use of digital platforms on the study and development of English language skills in teenagers. This study also aims to fill a gap in the field of language education and psycholinguistics, particularly the aspect of word recall, using the application of a mobile digital platform for practice. We found that sentence repetition was associated with repetition suppression in temporal regions, independent of whether participants judged the sensibility of the statements or listened to the statements passively. In addition, we model the sequence and locations of occurrence of emotions found in the notes. We discuss the effect of these features on the emotion annotation task, as well as the nature of the notes themselves. We also explore the use of bootstrapping to help account for what appeared to be annotator fatigue in the data. We conclude a discussion of future ave

Both variants are attested even in the earliest documents, although de que is an innovation with respect to Latin. In the standard language, each variant is used in its own characteristic contexts, but in current usage there is variation. Here, the replacement of either variant by the other is treated in a unified manner, with one phenomenon viewed as the mirror image of the other. Word repetition has been a staple paradigm for both psycholinguistic and memory research; several possible loci for changes in behavioral performance have been proposed. These proposals are discussed in light of the event-related brain potential (ERP) data reported here. ERPs were recorded as subjects read nonfiction articles drawn from a popular magazine. The effects of word repetition were examined in this relatively natural context wherein words were repeated as a consequence of normal discourse structure. Three distinct components of the ERP were found to be sensitive to repetition: a posi
