Purpose: To provide additional information on normal values of static pupil diameter measurements for binocular infrared pupillometry with PupilX, a commercial pupillometer, and assess the reproducibility of this device’s measurements. Methods: The pupil diameters from 91 study participants with normal eyes with an average age of 39.7 years (SD 16.4 years) were measured with PupilX under scotopic (0 lx), mesopic (1 lx), and photopic (16 lx) illumination. To assess the repeatability of the device, each measurement was repeated 5 times. Results: The mean pupil diameters were 6.5 mm (SD 1.3 mm),

The data show that conflicts between pupils and teachers are a daily occurrence. Conflicts between pupils and teachers arise from teacher‘s behaviour that ignores or violates pupil‘s rights: when the teacher explains the subject in an uninteresting way (60.2%); when teacher assigns too many tasks for pu

Abstract:
During the COVID-19 pandemic the educational processes were interrupted in most of the countries in the world. Abstract:
This paper examines the efficacy of class-size reductions as a strategy to improve pupils’ learning outcomes in India. It uses a credible identification strategy to address the endogeneity of class-size, by relating the difference in a student’s achievement score across subjects to the difference in his/her class size across subjects. Pupil fixed effects estimation shows a relationship between class size and student achievement which is roughly flat or non-decreasing for a large range of class sizes from 27 to 51, with a negative effect on learning outcomes occurring only after class size incr

Abstract:
The 2021 National Assessments of English Reading and Mathematics (NAMER) Context Report offers a comprehensive analysis of the factors influencing achievement in Second class English reading and Sixth class maths in Ireland. Due to pandemic-related disruptions, NAMER 2021 was postponed from 2020 and adapted to reduce the testing burden. Pupils had experienced approximately two months of remote teaching prior to returning to face-to-face instruction in March 2021. Drawing on data from questionnaires administered to pupils, teachers, and school principals, this report situates performance outcom
