Such a meaning The reason for its inclusion is that in ancient times the skeleton was affected by the heat of the sun or sand. Made with a skeleton one is an odd number. Conventionally, the skeleton is divided into 2 parts - the axis skeleton and the appendage. skeletonized. Skull skeleton (23 bones), chest (37 bones), including the spine (33-34 bones). The determination of the human or non-human origin of skeletal material can be particularly difficult if the bone is fragmented. It has been suggested that differences in the thickness of the cortical bone between human and non-human mammal long bones may be used to distinguish them, though little clear data exist. The aim of this thesis was to determine the extent of such difference, and whether it could be used to identify fragments of bone shafts. Abstract:
Osteoporosis is a systemic skeleton disease, characterized by a low bone mass and micro-architectural deterioration of bone tissue with consecutive increasing of fragile bones and susceptibility of fractures. Risk facture, advanced ages, family history, rheumatoid arthritis, low calcium intake, physical inactivity, and low body weight can lead to this condition. The aim of treatment in osteoporosis is to grow-up the bone mineral density of the skeleton and to increase resorption of formed bone, used diverse methods as medications, conservative measures, weight reduction, physical and occupatio

The grave from Fîrlădeni-La Văleanu (Căușeni District, Republic of Moldova), which is part of a still unexplored medieval necropolis, was discovered in 2015 and dated, according to the funeral ritual, in the 17th-18th centuries CE. The skeleton belongs to a female, with a biological age at death of approx. 17-18 years. Biomorphometric characteristics indicate Europoid and Mongoloid phenotypic features. The analysis of the dentition revealed several dental anomalies, and among the indicators of physiological stress, the linear enamel hypoplasia. Cribra cranii, cribra orbitalia, and periosteal c

Abstract:
Structural and biomechanical parameters of Edible Frog, Pelophylax esculentus (Linnaeus, 1758), limb bones, namely, mass, linear dimensions, parameters of the shaft ’s cross-sectional shape (cross-sectional area, moments of inertia, radiuses of inertia) were investigated. Some coeffi cients were also estimated: diameters ratio (df/ds), cross-sectional index (ik), principal moments of inertia ratio (Imax/Imin). Coeffi cients of variation of linear dimensions (11.9–20.0 %) and relative bone mass (22–35 %) were established. Moments of inertia of various bones are more variable (CV = 41.67–56.35 %
