The aim of this study was to analyze the salience of issue dimensions in the Swedish parliament debates by the established parties during the rise of the Sweden Democrats Party (SD). Structural topic modeling was used to construct a measurement of the salience of issues, examining the full body of speeches in the Swedish parliament between September 2006 and December 2019. Double-skin composite shear walls (DSCSWs) offer high strength and improve construction processes in tall structures, offshore constructions, and nuclear power plants. This paper investigates the compressive performance of DSCSWs, which consist of concrete sandwiched between two external steel faceplates and bonded with connectors at regular intervals. Three-dimensional finite element (FE) modeling is established and verified against five axial compression test specimens to predict the ultimate compressive capacity and failure modes of DSCSWs with bolts, head studs, and T-stiffener connectors.
