Basic rules
To cite a webpage on a website in MLA Style (8th ed.), you should include the following data into the reference: name(s) of the author(s), title of the material (article, publication, page, etc.), title of the website, publication date, URL (hyperlink), and date of access. Some of these data, such as the name of the author or date published, can be missing on the Internet page, and hence are not obligatory for a bibliographic reference.
For referencing short publications without a title (such as tweets), the whole text of the material should be included in the reference in place of the title.
How to cite in a bibliography
Bibliographic reference template:
Author(s). "Title of the Material (Page)." Website Title, date of publication, URL. Accessed date of access.
