Basic rules

APA Style (7th edition) requires referencing a paper published in conference proceedings as one would normally reference a chapter of an edited book. Therefore, the following data should be included in the reference: data on the abstract author(s), year of publication, abstract title, conference proceedings title, editors’ data, pages used, and publisher. For a conference report accessed online, the DOI or URL address should also be given.
