General rules

To reference a chapter of a book in IEEE Style, provide the details of not only the general edition but also the cited part, namely the authors of the chapter and the page range where it is located. The other rules are identical to the instructions for citing a book.

Bibliographic reference template for a book chapter (section):

Author(s), “Chapter title,” in Book TitleEditor(s), Ed(s). CityCountryPublisher, year, p(p). page(s).
